Our August Activities Sy2023-24

Grandparents Day is a special day to honor older generations
Suikawari (スイカ割り). Watermelon Splitting is a traditional Japanese game that involves splitting a watermelon with a stick while blindfolded.
Fire and earthquake safety classes for children are important to help them understand how to respond in emergency situations.
Autumn moon viewing, or Otsukimi has long been popular in Japan. Traditionally it was a way of expressing gratitude for a good harvest and hopes for a similar bounty in the future.

Our July Activities SY2023-24

Wishing our July birthday celebrant a great day of the year!
Fire safety is an important life skill for children to learn.
Our school focuses on basic earthquake drills and evacuation procedures.
We made some ornaments for the star festival.
Summer arts and crafts. The students made fireworks out of water paint and tissue roll.
The children tried out the balance beam for our Thursday activity.
Enjoying the bamboo tree decoration for the star festival.
This year’s star festival was celebrated with lots of fun and excitement.
Summer is really here! Enjoying the bubble outdoor is a great summer experience at school.

Welcome to Our School Year 2023-24

Thank you for joining our Entrance Ceremony. Wishing everyone a successful school year ahead!
Everyone at school was excited to make carp ornaments and streamers for Children’s Day.
We had a special class about Antarctica, with children being interviewed by the press.
The students got hands-on experience with ice from Antarctica!
The students really enjoyed the chance to touch a piece of ice from Antarctica. All the children had wet hands from the antarctic melted ice!
Feeling the iceberg was the high point of the lesson!
Students were able to work in groups and take turns putting their hands straight on the ice. It was a fantastic experience, and they now understand the environmental wonders of Antarctica!
Easter is all about bunnies and marshmallows! The children enjoyed making their bunny caps and ribbons. Happy Easter, everyone!

We had some pancakes on Valentine’s Day at school!
SETSUBUN (節分) is the day before the beginning of spring in the old calendar in Japan. The children literally threw soybeans on the devils face to ward off bad luck and invite new good luck in. Wishing you all the happiness and good health this year!

Our January Activities Sy2022-2023

Wishing you nothing but health, wealth, and happiness in the new year ahead. We’re so grateful for your support and love this year and every year. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Happy New Year! As we kick off 2023, we wanted to take a moment to remind you to always stay safe and healthy!
Writing competitions or contests provide a great opportunity for young kids to practice writing for an audience and receive recognition for their talents. Participating in these contests also allows children to experience the nature of competitive writing.
Fire safety plays an important role in school fire safety. It helps prepare the teachers, students, and staff to respond quickly, calmly, and safely.

Our December Activities Sy2022-2023

Christmas is just around the corner. Festivities and decorations are showing up here and there. We create our own unique Christmas tree this year.
Easiest DIY Christmas Wreath which is a great holiday DIY and craft project, especially for kids.
Santa and his helpers took time out of their busy schedules to pay us a visit on December 16, 2022.
The Student’s Annual Health Check-up is conducted based on the School Health and Safety Act.
Skipping improves children’s creativity – there are so many ways of using a skipping rope and turning it into a fun activity!
Wishing a wonderful birthday celebration to children who are so precious to us.
Training in basic safety practices equips early educators with the skills to keep children safe during their daily routine and in emergency situations.
May the Christmas Season bring only happiness and joy to you and your family. Thank you everyone for this wonderful year of 2022.

Our October Activities Sy2022-23

This Halloween season was absolutely fun! It was a blast, but we can’t believe we’re already at the end of October. Good thing we celebrated it with lots of treats and games.
A big and warm thank you for coming to our party and making it a memorable Halloween for all of us.
Harvest Day is one of the most memorable days in Autumn. We got lots of sweet potatoes and had fun cooking and eating together.
