Preparation for our Sports Day.
Setsubun 節分
Setsubun celebration at school. We made Otafuku mask and huge demon’s mask to literally do this spring traditional celebration.
The students enjoyed throwing the roasted soybeans(called “fortune beans” (福豆 fuku mame) at at teacher holding the Oni (demon or ogre) mask, while they were yelling “Demons out! Luck in!” (鬼は外! 福は内!Oni wa soto! Fuku wa uchi!) and slam the gate. It was a very exciting childhood experience ever.

第8回書初め大会
Our 8th Annual Writing Competition was held on January 19th. In this competition, the students from JUMP Class were asked to write their names in Hiragana and Alphabet, using capital and small letters. The STEP Class students wrote their full names. The BOUNCE Class students wrote their first names and the HOP Class students traced the wave and straight lines with their crayons. They did their best and received their medals accordingly.

Our Cram School 4th Annual English Oral Presentation was held on January 14, 2018 at Higashi Hiroshima Arts and Culture, Kurara ( small hall) and it was participated by the students from different elementary school, ranging from grade 1 to 6.

12th Foundation Day at Higashi Hiroshima Cultural Hall, Kurara.
The Jump Class performed the 2014 American Fantasy Film ” Into The Woods”.
The Step Class performed the popular Broadway Musical ” The Wizard of Oz”.
The Bounce Class performed the greatest childhood classic of all times ” The Very Hungry Caterpillar”.
The Hop class performed the rhythmic song “The baby sharks”.
All the students delivered their speeches and stood up on the stage with pride and confidence. Our 12th Foundation Day was done successfully.
